Willy Meyer is in the fleet

MEP United Left (IU) Willy Meyer has warned on Friday the Prime Minister of Spain Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, that the humanitarian fleet, which has chartered several groups to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza, will start in Spain although he disagrees. "I will go" at the next flotilla , which will start in the third week of June with 80 activists on board, has asserted the responsibility of federal IU foreign policy, he said. The flotilla meets the resolutions of United Nations (UN) and performed a "humanitarian."
At a press conference held in Zaragoza on the occasion of the regional and local elections of May 22, Willy Meyer has accused Zapatero's decision to request that any English citizen joins the fleet as it asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Meyer has expressed its "astonishment" by the request and has Zapatero recalled that the first fleet, chartered in 2010, was raided by the Israeli army, resulting in nine deaths, but "carried humanitarian cargo in the holds."

Meyer has said that the State of Israel has fenced Gaza "illegally" and considered that "Spain has to ensure that United Nations resolutions", to which he added that "international law requires Respect for this fleet. "
